This is a 40 year old female with micromastia who was interested in a bilateral breast augmentation and was believed to be a great candidate for this procedure after her consultation with Dr. Rao. The procedure was discussed in great detail as well as the varying implant sizes and what she was looking to achieve. She was a B cup at the time of her consultation and wanted to be a full C cup. She had a small amount of ptosis, or sagging of the breasts, as well as enlarged areolas. I suggested that she would benefit from a periareolar mastopexy as well, and she agreed after it was explained in great detail. She underwent surgery at a surgery center in Tucson. I performed a bilateral breast augmentation with 365cc smooth, round, high profile implants on both breasts, and both implants were placed behind the muscle. The surgery went smoothly, and her post-operative journey has been easy and worry-free. It has now been over 3 years since the procedure, and she loves the appearance of her new breasts!
