She underwent her mommy makeover in an outpatient surgery center in Tucson, Arizona. Her breast augmentation was performed through an IMF incision and smooth round 350 cc moderate profile plus Mentor Memory Gel implants were placed behind the muscle using a Keller Funnel. After the breast augmentation was completed attention was turned to her tummy tuck. I performed a tummy tuck with a muscle plication (i.e. tightening) and removal of her excess abdominal skin. Exparel, a long acting local anesthetic was injected into her abdominal muscles to help with postoperative pain and decrease the need for pain medication after surgery. She did great after her surgery and was discharged to home after a short time in the recovery room. She is now five months out from her Mommy Makeover surgery, and loves that she has the body back again that she had before pregnancy!
