This is a 33 year old female who came to Rao Plastic and Hand Surgery to discuss Liposuction and/or an Abdominoplasty. She was looking to improve the appearance and contour of her back and abdomen. She was unhappy with the fullness of her abdomen, back, and flanks as well as the excess skin of her stomach area. She was done having children. After discussing the options with her, I felt that she would be a good candidate for liposuction and an abdominoplasty and would successfully achieve her aesthetic goals. We also discussed in her initial consultation that she did not have prior surgery, any hernias, and was not pregnant, so we continued on to schedule her for surgery. Soon after, I performed a 360 degree power-assisted liposuction to the abdomen, back, and flanks at a surgery center in Tucson. The liposuction acts as an important adjunct to the tummy tuck because it allowed us to better contour her flanks and abdomen, and helped with removing additional fat. Her surgery was now over a year ago, her post-op journey has been great, and she is very happy with her results. Another confident patient!
