This is a 47 year old woman from Tucson,AZ that had come to Rao Plastic Surgery to discuss a breast augmentation and a lift. Her kids were now grown and she had got into Cross Fit and had lost some weight. Between weight loss and prior breast feeding she had lost volume in her breasts and they were sagging more. She was a 36 C cup depending on the bra and was looking at the being a full D to a DD cup breast. During her initial consultation I had learned that between losing weight and breast feeding she felt she was lacking volume in her breast. Her weight had been stable for several years now and she was not looking to lose any more weight. After taking measurements of her breasts we tried on sizers and liked the appearance of a 445 cc implant. I explained that with the degree of sagging of her breasts that she would need a concomitant breast lift to reposition the volume that she did have as well as her nipple areola complex so it would be centered over the breast implants. We discussed implant options and we agreed that a smooth round silicone implant would be the best option to help her achieve the upper pole volume that she was looking for.
